There are many big banks in China: CCB (China Construction Bank), ICBC, China Bank, China Merchant Bank, Bank of Communications, ABC, CGB etc. I think CCB and ICBC have the most number of ATM machines in the country. You can find them practically in every corner of every town and city. I used to use CCB and CGB and their ATM machines are near to my apartment. Sometimes I am in a rush but the queues can take some time. Normally this is because of an old couple or a farmer or a trade worker is trying to figure out the machine. During office hours, the bank staff will be stationed there to help out. Sometimes members of the public will be kind enough to help out. Until then you have no choice but to simply stand there in the queue and be patient. No use fuming and screaming.
