“Lu” mean road in Chinese and therefore Maoming Lu is Maoming Road. This road is in Shanghai and I can remember a handful of times when I went there. This particular occasion was to visit a photograph exhibition with my family. We took a metro train from our residential compound, arrived at the East Nanjing station and we walked for a while to reach the exhibition place. These photos were taken during that walk. If you skip pass the tourists venues, this is what a typical local road looks like in Shanghai. People going about their daily business, small businesses peddling their wares, old people sitting around.
