One day I walked out of my office in Beijing after work and realised it was pouring heavily. There were no cabs around. I dashed to the nearest restaurant across the street and took sanctuary there. Standing at the restaurant’s porch together with this Terracotta soldier, I wondered what to do next. Eventually I had my dinner here. I can’t remember much about this restaurant other than I had an expensive garlic broccoli.
