This is one of the 10 largest antique markets in China. I spent almost half-a-day walking around here and I wasn’t even buying anything. It was massive. I mean you can practically find every single piece Chinese antique right here in one place. According to Wikipedia, the number of customers over weekends can be between 60,000 and 70,000. The market was divided into different areas such as:
- Buddhism Statues Area
- Antique Furniture Area
- “High-rank” Antique Store Area
- Books and Scrolls Area
- Middle Area
- Zone One. Chinese paintings, calligraphic works as well as beads and jade
- Zone Two. beads, bronze vessels, ceramic vases and small wooden furniture
- Zone Three. Chinese ethnic minority arts and crafts, trinkets, antiques and apparels
- Zone Four. Chinese ceramics
