An Apple Cistern?

History shows that copying is a common strategy for many businesses in developing countries to get into the market quickly without the research, design, testing etc costs. Here someone decided to differentiate their cisterns from other commodities using an Apple logo. I bet Steve Jobs would have never imagined that his Apple logo would be used as a flushing button in China one day. Purchaser “I would like to check the price for 1,000 cisterns for a new apartment block.” Wholesaler: “Which one?” Purchaser: “The Apple one mate”.
