My mum had a partial stroke some years back in Singapore and was wheelchair-bound. I arranged tickets for her and her care giver in Singapore to visit us in Shanghai. I asked my dad to join but he didn’t want to travel. This photo was taken in our front yard in Shanghai. She loved flowers, especially roses. Unfortunately a few days later she suffered a stroke. I organised an air ambulance and followed her back to Singapore. She recovered initially but eventually passed away the following year. I was devastated.
