My house was near the German and French School in the Qingpu District in the west of Shanghai. Many German and French expatriate families lived around there. Just outside the school was this place called “Pâtisserie De France” which made autentic French baguettes and pastries. Most importantly, they made these fabulous tuna sandwiches that were simply out of this world. They were so good that we went there every Saturday morning for breakfast until they closed later in 2013.
