One day I went to see my daughter play an inter school soccer match in her school. After that I brought her to one of the foreigner-style cafes in that area. She had waffles and a smoothie and I had a cup of coffee. I used to wear a green winter cap with ear flaps during most of the winters in China and she was goofing around with that while waiting for the food. At that time in 2013, she was 11. Today in 2022, she is 20 and studying in the University of Melbourne. She is a good kid and has grown up beautifully.
