This road is not in Shanghai or Beijing. It is in the Henan province but also not in its capital city Zhengzhou. Just another small nondescript town but the road is clean without litter or garbage. I can imagine that there must be hundreds of thousands of workers in China who keep the roads clean in the biggest cities to the smallest towns. They do use those automated sweeping trucks but from what I have seen, its largely middle aged and older people who wear the bright safety vests and sweep the roads everyday using brooms and dust bins. Old fashioned hard labour but it keeps this country clean and gives them a livelihood.
