This was one of those days when I took a random train to a random town. Just to see what life throws at you when you don’t make any plans. I know that for some people that’s the entire philosophy in life. But I am Singaporean. I can work with that idea for a weekend but not longer than that. So there was no hotel booking for Anshan. I got down from the bus and started door knocking along a main road. I walked pass this hotel which looked like a scene from an old Chinese kung fu movie. I bet the night version of this must have looked even more spectacular but there were no rooms here and I had to press on.
