After the leaving the airport, I somehow found myself at a wet market in Chengdu. Not that it was my top of the must-see list in Chengdu. I had no expectations or plans and I just wanted to walk around and see the local neighbourhood. This was the entrance to the wet market and the wet market itself was quite similar to others I have seen in China. There were some small variations in how the products were displayed because this was more of an outdoor kind of a wet market, not situated within a building. But more or less it was the same as others with various small stalls selling fruits, vegetables, meat and household items.
