There are always frequent fire drills conducted by the company back in the Shenyang plants. Everyone has to walk out of the plants and offices and gather in an assembly point. But in Beijing, our company was hiring couple of floors in a twin tower business building. One day the building management organised a fire drill and everyone had to take the stairs down. I was in the 23rd floor and it was a pretty long walk down. I think I preferred the fire drills back in Shenyang.
