Arrived in Shenyang. Checked into a local hotel near my former apartment to stay for a few weeks until I find an apartment. JinJiang Hotel was one grade higher than “Home Inn” and so everything was slightly better. This is how my mornings seemed like then at 7am. I start with my favourite rice congee breakfast followed by fried rice or noodles or something else. Then I wash it down with complimentary hot local style coffee from a coffee dispensing machine. The cups were small and therefore I needed two in the morning. One to wake-up and two to face the 25 degrees Celsius winter outside.
