I wrote about square dancing before, during the warmer weather time in Shenyang. Everyone was in T-shirts , shorts and skirts. I came back from Beijing one year later and square dancing was still here in my neighbourhood. This time they were in winter jackets and snow boots. It was getting dark early, was below zero degrees Celsius most of the time and yet it did not deter these group of people from gathering together for square dancing. I really admire their passion for keeping healthy and having a bit of fun in the square everyday.
