My Japanese colleague Ota ordered some sushi dishes. I had no preference for the type of sushi as I rarely had sushi in my life and had absolutely no clue. I was simply happy to go with his choices. We shared a large bowl of assorted fishes and seafood which we dipped into sauces. I can’t remember if we had wasabi. Anyways, I was surprised to see that they decorated the bowl with fresh flowers and leaves which I thought was quite interesting. We also shared a long tray of sushi of some sort of a white fish and washed everything down with Japanese rice wine.
