I thought Nanjing was a small town but there were a lot of skyscrapers and fancy-looking buildings there. The truth is, if you have never visited and travelled in China, you will be surprised to see how modern and well-developed China is. If you just follow the international news about China, you would have thought that Shanghai and Beijing are the only two main international cities in China. The reality is that there are so many other large cities in China growing rapidly, gaining international attention such as Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Hangzhou, Qingdao, Chongqing, Chengdu and of course Nanjing.
