Immediately after arriving to Nanjing, we checked into our hotel and then left to visit a large zoological park called “Hongshan Forest Zoo”. There isn’t much snowing in Shanghai as you might get 1-2 days of snow and then it melts away rapidly. Our real first taste of snow was when we were in Nanjing where it snowed quite a bit. Kids were thrilled to play in the snow and had a great time. You can see an imprint of my son’s hand in one of the photos below.
