I was born in Singapore. Singapore was home for me. After moving to China in 2009, Shanghai was home for me (and later on, Shenyang in 2014). Whenever I travelled for holidays, it was always nice to come back to my favorite and familiar place, my home. Also when I am bringing my family out for holidays, my risk management antennas are always out. Like when selecting restaurants to eat, when deciding on accommodation and transportation options and even while crossing roads. Always paying attention to my family’s safety and this is still a foreign country for us. But it can become quite exhausting after some time. But when I am back home in Shanghai, I can finally let my hair down, so as to speak. This is home. This is safe. Relax a little bit and breathe. I am coming home.
