Open a circle of small wooden stools and place a small table in the centre and the men will find their wonderland in the small streets of Shenyang. Playing cards is a very popular past time in China and you can see them playing in the parks and in the small streets. Its a peaceful and quiet affair with a lot of spectators looking on. I believe it’s illegal to play cards using money in public in China and I have never actually seen any money on the tables. But I am guessing that some sort of an under table mechanism is always in place. But I am only guessing.
