One day I saw a family moving into my compound. The moving in was pretty quick and simple. Traffic was not allowed to pass through the main gates for security reasons. If you want o transport something heavy inside, you just borrow the bicycle carts from the main gate’s security post. And you can also give a small tip to the security guard and he will help you to cycle it to your apartment block. In almost all areas of day-to-day living, people keep things simple, quick and cheap. I have seen this again and again in China for ten years.
