We took a bus from the Hongshan Forest Park to get out of the outskirts and then later took a cab to the hotel, just to get a local bus experience. When we boarded the bus from the zoo, it was quite empty. It was old but well-maintained and looked clean. There was no graffiti, old stickers or chewing gums on the bus windows or floor. Additional passengers boarded the bus later and everything was orderly, safe and quiet. But they were definitely curious to see foreigners on this outskirt local bus.
