The Benxi water cave is situated in the Benxi Shuidong National Park. When I took a taxi to the location, the first thing I saw when I arrived at the entrance were these shops selling the largest variety of nuts and dried fruits I have ever seen in my life. There were many nuts and dried fruits that I had no clue what they are. Let alone imagine how do you eat them. Do you peel them or crack them or eat them as they are? I had no clue, no idea and and I didn’t try. I saw some of the vendors picking out the nuts and dried fruits from their husks on location at the shops. I believe these must be local produces from nearby farms.
