The Chinese authorities never spare anything when it comes to infrastructure spending such as airports, highways, bridges and government buildings. These projects are always big, bold and ambitious. If you take airports for example, every single airport I have visited in any city in China has always been huge and massive. In fact I have never seen anything that resembles a small domestic airport in China. I don’t know if they are bigger than the Singapore Changi airport but they definitely several times bigger than the Australian airports.
