The cart is solidly made in timber and is heavy to wheel on its own. If you add all that load on top, it is an extremely laboriously task to pull or push this cart anywhere. Maybe this is is the only transportation that this roadside fruit seller has. I really don’t know. Maybe this is still common in some parts of rural area in China, but this is really hard work and actually goes back a few hundred years. Just shows that some people are still having it tough in the rural areas. I feel for them.
