Mackerel Fillets Fried in a Batter of Spices

Mackerel fillets fried in a batter of spices and served on a bed of onions rings with a lemon slice on the side. Absolutely juicy and delicious. Had it many times at the “Indian Kitchen” in China. The recipe is quite simple. I have tried to cook this dish many times for many years but I have never seemed to get it right. The biggest problem is that the batter just dissolves and disintegrates into the oil as soon as I drop the fillet in. I hope I can find the solution one day and have my own properly done fried mackerel.
