One of my German colleagues was finishing up his contract and was heading back to Germany back in 2015. He threw a farewell party in a Swiss-styled restaurant cum bar situated in a bar stretch close to the American embassy in Shenyang. He organised some bar food and loads of beer. Some of my best colleagues were there and we had a wonderful time. This kind of “organised” bar nights were not very common for me but when they happened, they were always a blast.
