Beijing vs Shenyang wet markets

I have written about wet markets in Shenyang before. In Beijing, there were three wet markets around my apartment block and this was one of them. I don’t know if Beijing was more expensive than Shenyang. But definitely the Beijing wet markets looked more upscale. There were more advertising banners, wet market staff wore uniforms with name tags, products were better displayed and the floors were dry.
