One weekend, I walked over to my neighbourhood wet market and realised that it was closed for renovations. Instead they had set-up a temporary makeshift market outside. It looked like they had a permit because its illegal to set-up a market in public spaces. Anyways, that’s the day I found out that Beijing people do queue up and this is not something you see very often in China.
