My apartment is actually built on former farm lands. The neighbouring lands all used to be farm lands. Now engineering plants, real estate properties and shopping centres have been slowly built over the years. In some weekends, I cycle around the neighbourhood to explore these disappearing farms. I think it must have been tough for these folks to sell their farm properties which they have have been staying in for a long time and transition to a new life. Here is a make shift street market near one of these farms with some folks enjoying a card game under a tent. More pictures at a later time.
