
Often my job as a change manger is to bring people together through a transition. That’s a lot of things right there. You can almost write a book about that. And I am in fact writing a book on that. At that time, I was supporting a major process optimisation program of the company and was working with sourcing-related impacted key stakeholders. However they were not ready to come to a meeting together or to participate in workshops. I therefore created a “Lunch Club” to bring them together for the first conversations. And after couple of weeks of “Lunch Club” sessions, I managed progress the interactions to meeting and workshops’ levels.
