
After the initial meeting, there were many preparations that stretched for couple of weeks. 150 staff eventually participated in the first sourcing business game. This was the launch of the updated sourcing process in the company, as part of a larger process optimization program. However, due to overwhelming response we had to schedule two more sessions of the game and eventually a total of 450 staff participated. We had to even organize several VIP rounds for management to participate based on request. I was flattered when the CEO of the company actually came down to officiate two of the events. But the biggest success for me was to see the behaviors and mindsets of the project team and impacted stakeholders changing. This change eventually drove the project to a huge success.
