
Here is a retail advertisement featuring a foreigner for Jack and Jones, probably in a subway station or in a shopping centre, back in 2014. I think the Chinese retail advertising has evolved since then and over the years. Instead of plastering foreigner faces for every brand and product, I think they have become more sophisticated. They only selectively use foreigners in advertisements if it makes sense and otherwise use local Chinese celebrities from television, movie and music industries as well as from the sports world.
