On the way back from Nanjing to Shanghai we stopped at Changzhou as I saw in the web that there was a dinosaur park there. I thought the kids might love it. Other than that, I had no idea what else was there but the plan was to stay there for 2-3 days and to find out. I made a hotel reservation for Holiday Inn Changzhou Wujin on the phone with English speaking hotel staff while on the high speed rail there. After arriving and taking the cab from the train station to the hotel, Changzhou looked just like another big city in China: big clean roads, lots of tall business and residential buildings, loads of shopping centres, bustling traffic and busy people.
