My daughter was six and my son was two when we moved from Singapore to Shanghai in 2009. I enrolled them into the British International School Shanghai (Puxi). They had couple of good friends there but their friends’ circle kept changing as some expatriates finished their contract and went back home. But overall my kids did well in China. It is true that kids can adjust to a new place faster and better than adults, in most cases. And they re-adjusted again after moving to Australia couple of years later.
