Taikang Lu is my favourite tourist area in Shanghai. I have been there many times and it has always given me a different experience every single time. It’s got many small narrow lanes with Chinese and colonial style houses and shops. Lots of arts and crafts shops, cafes, bars and restaurants. On this day, I brought my wife for lunch as it was our wedding anniversary. We had a chicken curry with white rice, coffee, lassi and red wine.
