I know this sounds crazy but I tried to teach my four-year old son something about event planning, or more importantly about the concept of making a plan for doing something in life. I thought that the earlier he grasps the concepts, the better it would be for his future development. I sat down with him one day and developed a simple birthday plan together with him. He was totally excited throughout the activity and also understood why we are writing down these planning steps.
