The French connection

If you are willing to find hard enough and pay high enough, I am sure you can always have the most authentic foreign food somewhere in Shanghai. Whether its spaghetti bolognese or sushi or New York cheese cake or tandoori chicken. But the most authentic French pastries in Shanghai are in the most unusual location, right outside the German and French School in Qingpu in a bakery cafe called “Pâtisserie De France”. But of course it makes perfect sense. This is where the French are.
