The Qibao Ancient Town is about 15 minutes away from my house by taxi and I have been there several times. It is essentially a water town with a river called Puhui running through it with many ancient Chinese-style bridges over it. Qibao has many refurbished museums, shops, tea houses etc and is a busy tourist attraction and can be super-crowded at times. Every time I come here, I am always amazed to think that people used to live in this town 1,000 years ago.
