The Shanghai Fabric Market is a wholesale place for clothing vendors but end consumers can also order directly here. You can order anything here: cushion covers, shawls, dresses, ladies tops, leather jackets etc. I once made a maroon dress for my daughter’s birthday here. You walk into any of the stores here with a picture of the design you like or you could choose one from their hundreds of design albums. Then select the type of fabric from the hundreds of samples they have. Negotiate the price and that’s it. It is a great place to go if you want to set-up an online shop with your own brand of clothes and are looking to produce in China.
