It is always a pleasure to walk around the Carrefour in Gubei or for that matter any other large local or international supermarkets in China. Chinese supermarkets are massive and they stock-up on every type and range of products. If you are the curious type like me, there are lots to see. For example, it was interesting for me to see that the Chinese people eat a lot of different types of beans. I have never seen neither such large quantities or such large varieties of beans stocked up in a supermarket in my whole life. There were heaps of green beans, red beans, white beans, black beans, kidney beans, soya beans and heaps of even more beans.
