This is a road side shop selling winter shoes in a small town in Henan. Whenever I walk past a winter shoe shop, I always take a look to see if there is a size for me. My foot size is EU 45 / UK 11 / US 11.5 and I find it normally quite difficult to find my size in typical shoe shops unless you go to a specialty shop. Chinese shoe shop vendors who have not seen or met many foreigners with large feet will always sort of give me a weird look as if I am a mutant when I tell them my shoe size. Nope, this shop didn’t have my size either.
