Sanzi is a crispy, salty deep-fried dough snack. Strips of dough are wrapped around the hand, pulled, folded back and pulled again until you get even thin noodles which are then deep-fried in oil. The snack is often associated with the Qingming Festival or Tomb Clearing Festival but it is also available everywhere as an everyday snack. I have eaten it many times while watching a movie or when having a bottle of beer. Today, I found a couple making it on the main road outside the small farm. The thing about this is that it takes an awful length of time to finish one bundle of it. I mean like really a long time.
