Singapore is near the equator. There are no four seasons. The temperature is 25-33°C (77-91°F) throughout the year. We wore T-shirts and shorts everyday. We ate the same vegetables and fruits the whole year. There are no special recipes or food for certain parts of the year. But after travelling to Germany for many years and after relocating to China, I started understanding life with seasons. For example, one of the first things that happen in summer in China is they start selling water melons everywhere. Here a pair of disposable chopstick has been inserted into a water melon slice in the style of an ice cream on a stick for the hot summer.
