It seems that the Church is a popular place for wedding photography even when actual Church weddings are unpopular in China. At least three wedding photo shoots were in progress outside the Church that day. The Church is the only Western-style building in Shenyang and therefore offered a unique photo opportunity. And this is my very personal opinion assuming that these are not Christians and that they are just using the Church as a backdrop. I think they should go inside to learn more about the sanctity and heritage of the place before commencing a photo shoot there just to show respect and reverence since this is a place of worship.
