The night market stalls ran for one-to-two kilometres and the barbecue stalls paralleled them for a good distance. Crowds were flowing from the night market into the barbecue area and vice versa. The two businesses fed off each other offering Shenyang locals a fun street shopping and dining experience. They set-up this street fanfare every summer after the brutal -30°C (-22°F) winters. I was here most of the evenings after work. There was plenty to see in the night market and there was so much different barbecue food to try. I would rather be sitting here than to be dining in any other restaurant. This was my happy place.
