I was making a weekend trip to a city called Benzi, about two hours train ride from Shenyang. I didn’t make a big plan. I just wanted to get out of Shenyang and not think about work that weekend. But I wanted to go somewhere green and my colleagues recommended me to go to Benzi. I took a slow train and it took some time but it was a pleasant journey. The seats were comfortable, the train was clean and everything was professional. I had plenty of time to look out the window and enjoy the rural countryside of China. After all, it’s just not the destination but the journey counts as well, right?
