I would have most probably walked right past this tree if not for my tour guide. She pointed out to me that this tree was called the husband and wife tree as it looked like a bigger was hugging a thinner tree. I looked at it and indeed it looked quite romantic. There was a small plaque there I guess explaining nature’s play at work here. Also some people seemed to have tied some red ribbons around the tree probably asking for blessings for a happy married life or even a child. I am not sure but I am guessing because similar customs and superstitions do exist in Hinduism.
