As my China Southern Airline flight was taxiing in the Melbourne runway, I was filling curious. Has China changed in any ways since I left in 2018? I will land there in less than 12 hours and will have two weeks to figure that out. The flight passenger safety video, probably an old version, featured a single child family. But it was a good reminder that China had amended its population planning policy in 2021. There are now no restrictions and parents can have any number of kids they want. That’s a really big change.
