The bottle’s shape was misleading. If not for the golden hue of its contents, I would have thought that it was a baijiu advertisement at the Guangzhou Airport in China. But it was Johnny Walker, the world’s highest selling Scotch whisky. Departing from its signature square bottle designs and wedging its way into China’s USD$336 billion alcoholic beverages market. This particular advertisement was targeting at the mid to high-end market segment and was selling for USD116 a bottle.

That’s an expensive looking bottle of Johnnie Walker!
This is the luxury liquor market segment probably made up of largely business men and politicians. I can only imagine that they would not get one bottle but a few bottles at any one point in time.
