When I moved from Singapore to Shanghai in 2009, one of the first Indian restaurants I started visiting was the “Indian Kitchen”. They had a huge selection of South Indian dishes that I was more familiar with and they were really awesome. Eventually I found out that they had branches in other cities and I have also eaten in Changzhou and Beijing. The waiters and waitresses were Chinese but were dressed in traditional Indian wear and were quite familiar with the Indian menu. Normally there was always an Indian manager in the restaurant. I have brought my family to eat here many times and it was an absolute pleasure every time.
